Real innovation starts with real insight. At Doitwell, we ground our work in thorough research—from industry trends and behavioral studies to in-depth market analysis. This gives our clients a clear view of what guests want, how they think, and where the industry is heading.
“Our research helps shape smarter strategies, stronger experiences, and digital solutions.”

Exploring the Future of Guest Experience

We conducted an interdisciplinary analysis. Our goal was to collect insights to better understand how to satisfy the needs of customers and set the best strategies. Doitwell specializes in the management of projects in the field of Guest Experience. Together with our Clients (hotels, museums, attractions, theme parks, tour operators), we have been re-imagining the post-COVID-19 customer journey. To support our analysis, among other initiatives, we recently carried out a survey to study customers’ future needs and behaviors.

Amusement Parks and the Master's in Languages, Intercultural Communication and Tourism Management

The research, coordinated by Professor Barbara Antonucci, director of the Master’s program, with the collaboration of Nicole Cutrufo (Doitwell) for the focus on amusement parks, was carried out by analyzing over 1,300 reviews using a tool based on an AI algorithm, specially developed – as there was no budget for paid platforms or extensive API usage – by the students with the help of a faculty member.

The level of positivity in the comments was assessed by running queries and analyzing specific keywords. The study also examined the parks’ possible responses and the dates of the reviews. Comments in both Italian and English were analyzed, with results manually verified when necessary.

It was a complex project, carried out in this case with a proprietary tool that may differ in some ways from those conducted with expensive professional systems capable of interfacing, through APIs, with other data sets. Nonetheless, the results accurately reflect what is emerging on TripAdvisor.
