Doitwell and Luna Farm, full immersion training!

In the next few days, the first Farm Theme Park will open in Italy in the amazing Fico Eataly World (Bologna). 

Who is behind this innovative idea? 

The Zamperla Group, an Italian company with long experience in the field of theme parks. The name of this unique theme park will be “Luna Farm”,  the park covers an area of about 6500 square meters (70,000 sq ft) and with an investment of about 11 million euros (12.1 million dollars) aims to offer visitors a varied entertainment reality that has never been seen before in Italy. 

Luna Farm is the farm of the Farmer Gianni and his sparkling animals: a pig, a bee, a bull, and a rooster. It is an extraordinary magical world.

In these days preceding the Luna Farm inauguration, on December 7th 2019, the whole team is in a full immersion training phase. The training and implementation of Guest Experience Management tools are managed by doitwell. 

Doitwell is an innovative American consulting company founded in 2019, by Nicole Cutrufo,  based in Orlando, Florida, the hub of theme park attractions and technological center in the world.

Our job is to support tour operators and attractions such as amusement parks or museums around the world, to improve customer interaction and guest experience. We aim to understand what the customer really wants and we study everything in detail.

A few months ago we met with the Zamperla Group to work with each other to help train their employees to offer a unique and special Italian experience that can be recognized worldwide. 

In the case of Luna Farm, we have common viewpoints: accessibility and use of the park for each type of visitor. In this project, we focused on always trying to go beyond the barriers with the sole purpose of improving and making sure that everyone can have fun; for example in a theme park or simply take a trip from an unforgettable experience. 
We have shared some examples of the best industry practices  from our headquarters in Orlando like retired professor Dr. Dicksonthe University of Central Florida – leader in Theme Park Management and Hospitality that talked about Guestology, Julia Elle a famous Influencer that  represent the category of the moms and also the largest community of fathers in Italy will contribute to improving the session of learning.

We are happy to introduce for the first time in an Italian theme park a training that underlines the importance of adjusting the experience of each target. We emphasized the point of view of the mothers and families in general. We made a social experiment with the support of specialists such as Psychologists and Obstetricians, to make a “pregnant dad”, and trying to explain the feeling of being a mum with kids visiting a park. We also included the point of view of dads with support of “Super Papà” the first community of dads in Italy. The goal of this training was to sensitize the features team members of the Park to make each guests feeling welcome and respected while they are enjoying their visit to the Park.

We involved, also, Make a Wish Foundation and shared the emotions of the people who visit the parks and the empathy of the team members who will go to welcome families with special needs when the Luna Farm will be open. 

In this way, with the contribution of several experts and different points of view, the Luna Farm staff had the opportunity to understand the highlights from which to start. We base our work on the concept of being able to satisfy all types of public, be it a couple, a family with children, an exclusive group of adults. Differentiating does not mean creating highly individual experiences but simply capturing the essence of the Guest Experience.

The international spirit of doitwell plays a supporting role that adds to Zamperla’s decades of experience in this sector. The training was based entirely on topics such as hospitality and the study of different targets. We accepted the request of Lara Facchinetti (HR director for Zamperla Group) to create a message that can be international. 

Doitwell is an international company with a team capable of being present worldwide, I am Selenia Morgillo, and my role in the team is to be an Attractions Expert. In the coming weeks, I will be at Luna Farm to measure the Guest Experience and everything that is part of our job to always offer the best. I can’t wait to be there!

She focuses on understanding Attractions and how guests interact with them. Selenia is also an Art Historian, Tour Director, and Tour Guide in Europe. With her extensive studies in both the Arts and Tourism Management, Selenia’s unique background (especially behind the camera ) is what gives her such a curious eye for essential details and a passionate and soulful edge. On top of the formal arts, she has a passion for archeology, architecture, traveling, food, and photography. Born in a small town near Naples, Selenia currently lives and works in the “Eternal City” of Rome.
